Most experts in the field of defence and security believe that armedsecurity operations are an issue that continues to threaten the political systems of the world, and the Islamic Republic of Iran is not exempt from this rule. Defence experts believe that this type of subversive operation usually has an external origin and is prepared and planned outside the country. This research is aimed at achieving trust-building strategies to counter armed security operations by leveraging the experiences of commanders. The research question is: What are the trust-building strategies to counter armed security operations by leveraging the experiences of commanders? Data collection was conducted through library studies and high-level documents using a data extraction tool through qualitative content analysis and interviews with 48 experts until data saturation was reached, and analysis and conclusions were drawn through qualitative content analysis. Ultimately, five strategies for countering armed security operations were identified.
