Abstract

What is considered a real and tangible threat to the survival of the system and the country is armed security threats and physical aggression. This often occurs through rebellion, separatist actions, coups, various levels of armed conflict, military intervention, occupation of the country, and so on. For this purpose, the present research aims to "provide a pattern of armed security threats to the Islamic Republic of Iran" and seeks to identify the dimensions and components of the pattern of armed security threats. . This research has used data obtained from interviews in terms of its application type and descriptive method. To gather the necessary data, it was collected through studying and noting documents, existing books and articles, reputable websites, semi-structured interviews, and distributing questionnaires among the sample population. Ultimately, the pattern of armed security threats was identified in four dimensions: contexts, evidence and signs of threats; the role of intelligence organisations in identifying security threats; threatening groups and armed security threats, and 14 components were enumerated.
